Affiliate disclosure
Last updated .
The short version. Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you sign up through one, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. This is disclosed next to every single one, in line with the US Federal Trade Commission's rules on clear and conspicuous disclosure.
Which links pay us, exactly
| Platform | Do we earn from it? | What that means for you |
|---|---|---|
| Systeme.io | Yes: affiliate commission | You pay the same price. We get a commission if you sign up through our link. |
| Teachable | Yes: affiliate commission | You pay the same price. We get a commission if you sign up through our link, which goes through PartnerStack (see the technical detail below). |
| Thinkific | No: we earn nothing | A direct link to their site, with no tracking of ours attached. There is no affiliate relationship: they declined our application on October 16, 2026. |
| Podia | Yes: affiliate commission | You pay the same price. We get a commission if you sign up through our link. |
Podia approved our affiliate application in September 2026, and Teachable approved ours in October 2026, which is why both rows above now match Systeme.io's. Thinkific declined our affiliate application on October 16, 2026. There is no affiliate relationship with Thinkific: its link is a direct link that earns us nothing. The labels are meant to track a single configuration file precisely so they cannot fall out of sync with reality.
Why you can still trust the recommendation
The obvious worry is that we steer you to a platform that pays us. Three things make that checkable rather than a promise:
- The quiz scoring rules are published in full. There is no commission term anywhere in them.
- Across every possible combination of answers, the tool recommends Thinkific more often than any other platform, and Thinkific pays us nothing.
- Every recommendation, including the ones that pay us, lists that platform's real limitations in the same panel as its strengths. Look at what we say about Systeme.io's course player, its missing student app and its basic assessments.
Technical detail
Affiliate links carry rel="sponsored", as Google requires, plus our own UTM parameters so we can see which page and button people click. Those parameters identify the button, not you. We do not use link cloaking or redirects that disguise where a link goes. Hover over any button and you will see the destination it really uses.
One link works differently from the rest. The Teachable link goes through PartnerStack, the platform Teachable uses to run its affiliate program, so when you hover over a Teachable button you will see partnerstack.teachable.com as the destination, and it then forwards you to Teachable. PartnerStack may place its own tracking cookie in your browser to attribute the referral. That cookie belongs to PartnerStack, not to this site, and it is not set on our domain. The Systeme.io and Podia links go straight to those platforms' own sites.
What we do not accept
We do not take payment for placement, for a higher score, or for a more favorable write-up. No platform on this page has seen it before publication, reviewed our wording, or has any right to. If that ever changes, it will be disclosed here first.
