Privacy policy

This policy covers the FinanzaX Decide course platform comparison tool at finanzaxhq.com/decide/course-platforms/. It is written to be read, not to be survived.

The short version

What we collect

Your quiz answers and calculator inputs — not collected

The quiz and the cost calculator are client-side JavaScript. Your answers, your course price and your sales volume are processed in your browser and never transmitted to our servers or to anyone else. Close the tab and they are gone. There is nothing to request or delete because there is nothing stored.

Your email address — only if you give it

If you submit the form on the results page, we collect the email address and first name you enter. We use them to send your result and, from time to time, notes about pricing changes on the platforms compared here. Every email has an unsubscribe link, as required by the US CAN-SPAM Act. Unsubscribing removes you from the list.

Email is handled by Systeme.io, which acts as our email service provider and stores this data on our behalf. It is not sold, rented or shared with the platforms compared on this site.

Analytics — only after you consent

If and only if you press "Accept analytics", we load Google Analytics with IP anonymisation enabled, to see which parts of the tool people use. If you press "Reject", or simply ignore the banner, no analytics script is loaded at all — this is enforced in code, not just stated here. You can verify it: reject, then check your browser's network tab.

Local storage

We store one item in your browser's local storage, named fxd-consentimiento-v1, recording your cookie choice so we do not ask again on every page. It contains only the word "accepted" or "rejected". It is not a tracking identifier and never leaves your device. Clearing your browser data removes it.

Server logs

Our host, Hostinger, keeps standard web server logs including IP addresses, for security and to keep the site running. This is ordinary hosting infrastructure and applies to any website.

Affiliate links

When you click an affiliate link, the destination platform may set its own cookie to attribute the referral. That happens on their site under their privacy policy, not ours. Our own UTM parameters identify which button was clicked, not who clicked it. See the full affiliate disclosure.

Third parties

Your rights

If you are in the European Economic Area or the UK, the GDPR gives you the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your personal data, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. If you are in California, the CCPA gives you the right to know what personal information we collect, to have it deleted, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell personal information, as that term is defined by the CCPA.

In practice, the only personal data we hold is an email address, and only if you gave us one. To see it, correct it or have it deleted, email hello@finanzaxhq.com and we will act within 30 days. To withdraw analytics consent, clear this site's data in your browser and choose "Reject" when the banner returns.

Children

This site is intended for adults running or starting a business. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, the date at the top changes with it, and we will say what changed rather than quietly editing the text.
